Our Sea2it and Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust volunteers are on their way back from a coastal cleanup at the Giants Causeway and Causeway Coast World Heritage Site this evening. A successful cleanup with primarily marine industry and domestic litter removed from the eastern bays…. and what about that sky!!!
From shopping trollies, bible bottles, and field gates on the Bann, to rubber belts, bottles and fishing gear at the Causeway, our volunteers will have a go at keeping our freshwater and marine areas clean.
Tonight’s clean was funded by Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust with support from NIEA.
We’ll be back at the World Heritage Site again on the 21st September
