Join Causeway Boats and Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust for a pleasant boat trip from Ballintoy Harbour via Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge to Rathlin Island’s West Lighthouse. We will pass below Northern Ireland’s largest seabird colony and have great views of Puffins both on the water and around their burrows. The cliffs and stacks are also home to thousands of Guillemots, Razorbills and large numbers of Kittiwakes and Fulmars. If we are lucky we might catch a glimpse of Northern Ireland’s only breeding pair of Great Skua or some of the resident Peregrine Falcons or seals.
This tour operates as a private hire tour – so you’ll enjoy the trip with just you and your group. Maximum of 6 people.
Note: Causeway Boats offer these puffin tours only in June and July to coincide with these unique seabirds return to land for the breeding season.
