Why not explore something different, join us on our ‘catch your breakfast’ fishing trip
Leaving Portrush Harbour just before daybreak onboard The Causeway Lass, we head out to sea, our aim- to catch our breakfast from the Atlantic waters of the Causeway Coast. What an amazing experience to see the sun slowly rising over Dunluce Castle!
All fishing equipment and bait is provided along with tuition as to its use. During the trip tea and coffee will be available.
Our breakfast will be dependent on the variety of fish caught, but Charlies famous ââMackerel Surpriseââ is almost certain to be on the menu -The fun of fishing is, âyou never can tellâ
Your experienced âCauseway Boatsâ crew will share their local knowledge throughout this trip and at this time of the morning we have previously encountered dolphins, basking sharks and even a whale â so it is advisable to bring along a camera!
Having caught, filleted and learned about the days catch; we will head back ashore to our Chefâs kitchen, where our bounty will be prepared and paired with local, seasonal produce to create a breakfast.
Your breakfast dish will feature your âcatch of the dayâ, along with a range of local produce that will make this the freshest breakfast in Ireland.

07.00 hrs Go fishing on the Causeway Boats
09.00 hrs Return to Port and fillet catch
09.15 â 10.30 hrs Breakfast ashore at Chefs Kitchen
